My Story
"I had the education, I had the job, and I lived in a cool city. I was supposed to be happy, but I felt a void. I knew there was something beyond and I was ready to go for it. I wanted to learn about quantum physics and how memories create synapses in our brains. I wanted to learn about how emotions get stored in our bodies, and why being in nature is essential for our health."
I came from a traditional family who taught me that “success” could be found through financial gain and by climbing the corporate ladder. So I did.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from IBMEC and FAAP, and a Master of Arts in International Trade from USP in São Paulo. Then I got a certificate in Business from UC San Diego.
I had the education, I had the job, and I lived in a cool city. I was supposed to be happy, but I felt a void. I knew there was something beyond and I was ready to go for it. I wanted to learn about quantum physics and how memories create synapses in our brains. I wanted to learn about how emotions get stored in our bodies, and why being in nature is essential for our health.
Where I’m from, the jungle is alive and a powerful force in our lives. I grew up on the edge of the Brazilian Amazon, amongst the vibrant plants, foods, medicines, and people of a very sacred land. The culture is warm and deeply connected to nature and community.
Maybe because of my roots, I’ve always felt drawn to helping people. One of my earliest memories as a child was sitting beside my neighbor and fellow 7-year-old, talking to him passionately about life, answering his questions. Although I was young, I felt good in that space and confident in what I was saying. I knew right then that helping people made me happy.
A lot of my work is also informed through the education I received in French schools around the world. I am lucky to have had this experience in formal education because I believe it helped me form a very open, critical, and comprehensive worldview. I was raised by Descartes, Monet, Molyère…
And yet, there I was, in traffic hating my life that day in the car, wondering how in the world I got there.
As you may have gathered, that was a breaking point for me. As I contemplated all of this while I waited for traffic to die down, I also decided that life is more than working, paying bills, and dying. That day I decided that everything felt wrong, and something had to change.
I began a deep dive into inner work and spirituality and changed my career path to align more closely with the spiritual awakenings I was having. I wanted my work, and my life, to make sense in my heart.
Fast forward to today: I have almost 7 years of experience working in the spiritual and healing communities, where I have been working with private clients, hosting events, leading workshops, and co-leading women’s retreats. I take great inspiration from my travels throughout the world in places like India, China, and the Hawaiian Islands. My experiences abroad and in the United States, where I live now, have helped me learn so much. And the inner work I’ve done (and am doing) through corporate leadership programs, therapy, retreats, rituals, ceremonies, and festivals like Burning Man, constantly embolden me to live my life’s purpose. My journey has been an overwhelming confirmation for me that I am here to help people thrive, and to inspire them to build a life they truly love.
Let me show you that you don’t have to leave everything behind or hide away in a cave in the Himalayans to discover who you are and how to be happy. It’s all within you, right here and now. You just have to know how to look, and I can help. Come work with me.
